Daekyo and Korea YMCA signed an agreement for the “children’s happy regional communities’ development” project on October 13.

With the conclusion of this agreement, YMCA can now provide support in the form of high-quality educational services to eligible children. For its part, Daekyo can secure public institution channels nationwide by providing Edu-care service integrating Daekyo’s 33 years’ educational know-how.

Daekyo plans to support children’s language development at “YMCA Agaya,” a children support social enterprise operated by YMCA, and conduct psychological development tests to prevent the poor school performance of school children and provide related consulting services. Furthermore, it has decided to offer special discounts for tailored educational services and back up training for all Agaya teachers serving across the country.

“We participated in this project to fulfill our social responsibility as a leading educational enterprise. We plan to support fully the ‘children’s happy regional communities’ development project’ in the future,” said CEO Park Myoung-kyu.
